  • Starting CMU MS-AIE (ECE department) August 2026 — expected graduation December 15, 2027.
  • Prepping for 11-667 — LLM Systems in the fall lineup. Reading through 'Efficient Deep Learning' and the ORCA / vLLM papers.

Building

  • Dyx — the AI voicemail line at voicemail.kaushik.cv. Recent lift: sub-700ms end-to-end latency (Deepgram nova-3 → Groq Llama 3.3 → Cartesia sonic-3).
  • CipherStack — self-hosted credential vault with LRU key rotation and 60s cooldown on 429s. Live at cipherstack.kaushik.cv, vending keys to every side project.
  • This site — kaushik.cv itself. Continuous adversarial audits + fixes on a loop; three interactive playgrounds and counting.

Writing

  • 85 technical essays on /blog, covering RAG at SAP scale, HNSW vs IVF-PQ, GDPR-compliant retrieval, GPU multimedia indexing, the ICCIES 2025 swarm paper, personal essays on practice and mindset, memoir on college utilities, deep dives on Dyx / CipherStack / HaaS, a run of 2022-era college-repo retrospectives with a credential-audit surfacing three leaks, and a meta post on the fact-checker workflow that made the sprint possible.
  • Recently shipped: Three credential leaks (and one framing mistake) in my own public repos — the accidental audit of my own 2022-era college repos, plus the two-minute grep loop you can run against yours.
